If there is mud these two will find it.  Like a moth to a flame.

Sure, it makes more work for me cleaning up after their messy adventures but it’s not about me.  I have come to accept that my days of clean clothes and sparkling floors are long over.

Horsing around, bodily functions and messes are part of our everyday.  They were never “taught” to love what they love, it was in their DNA.  I let them explore where their instincts lead them… with some guidance when needed.

I don’t need to understand the why and I personally would not do something like cover myself in mud.  I embrace who they truly are and encourage them to do great things.
